Most parents want nothing more than safe and healthy children. We want to work with you to help keep your children healthy and help them get better quickly when they are sick. On this page you will find many resources that you can access to help your sick child at home. Often treating the symptoms is all that can be done for children who are sick. Please see the Patient Portal Section on how to send us a message if you have questions or concerns. Also included in this section are dosing charts for pain and allergy relief medications.
A sick newborn can be a terrifying thing. We want to work with you to help ease that fear. Sicknesses that are not very serious in older children or adults can be serious in newborns. At your first newborn visit we will help you learn what is important to watch out for in your newborn baby. Do not ever hesitate to send us a message through the Patient Portal if you are concerned about your baby. Below are a list of resources to help you starting out on your parenting journey with your newborn.
Ask a nurse: One of the best tools in the Patient Portal is the messaging system for our patients. Rather than having to make a plan to call in to our office during office hours, you can send us a message no matter what time of day or night, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Make an appointment: We would like to strongly encourage our patients to utilize the Patient Portal as much as possible but especially when making appointments. Relying on the Patient Portal as an appointment scheduling tool allows us to be more efficient with our time in the office which leads to shorter wait times and more attention given to our patients. Although we strongly encourage the Patient Portal for appointments, we are always willing to take your call and schedule an appointment over the phone. Please let us know when you are in our office if we can help you with navigating or using the Patient Portal. We do not accept walk in-visits. This helps keeps our appointment wait times low.
