If you notice white patches in your baby’s mouth, they likely have a common infection called thrush. This is just an overgrowth of yeast.
The best way to prevent that is boiling bottle nipples, nipple shields, and pacifiers after each use. You can call us for a prescription to help maintain this. If you have any further questions, or it’s worsening to spot that, certainly call us back, but don’t be worried. It’s nothing of major concern and we’re always here for you.
If you are concerned about the appearance of your child’s mouth, contact our office or visit the patient portal to make an appointment.
